Use of Tools

Cleange provides household chemical safety tools including a Mix Checker and Unmixable Finder. These tools use published chemical interaction data to produce safety verdicts. They are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, toxicology consultation, or a substitute for Poison Control.

If you or someone you know has been exposed to a chemical mixture, call Poison Control at1-800-222-1222 (24/7, free, confidential) or call 911 for breathing emergencies. Do not rely on this tool during an active chemical exposure.

No Warranty

Tools and data are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. Products are classified by chemical class, not exact formulation or concentration. Product formulations may change without our knowledge.

Limitation of Liability

Cleange and its operators are not liable for any harm resulting from reliance on tool outputs, including but not limited to chemical exposure injuries, property damage, or health effects. These tools supplement — they do not replace — product labels, Safety Data Sheets, and professional toxicology guidance. Maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the tools ($0).

Client-Side Processing

All safety checks run in your browser. Cleange does not receive, store, or process your product selections or results. We cannot recover, access, or reproduce any data you enter.

Advertising

Cleange displays third-party advertisements through Google AdSense. These ads are served by Google and its advertising partners. Cleange does not endorse, recommend, or verify any products, services, or companies that appear in advertisements.

Cleange has no financial relationship with any cleaning product manufacturer, chemical company, or retailer. Safety verdicts are not influenced by advertising relationships.

Intellectual Property

The chemical interaction rules, product classification database, scoring methodology, user interface designs, and written content on this site are the property of Cleange. You may use the tools freely for personal, non-commercial purposes. Systematic extraction, reproduction, or redistribution of the compiled datasets or tool interfaces is prohibited without written permission.

Acceptable Use

You may not use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the tools at scale, extract the product database, or reproduce the tool interfaces. Rate limiting and bot protection are enforced through our hosting provider.

Changes

We may update these terms as needed. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
